Help a Student Start the School Year with Confidence

Your gift puts essential supplies, support, and hope into the hands of youth who need it most. Each act of generosity builds toward a school year where every student feels prepared, empowered, and valued. Let’s make that the norm—not the exception.

Take the Stress Out of Back-to-School Season

As families prepare for a new academic year, the young people served by Everstand are navigating much more than supply lists. Many come from backgrounds marked by instability, trauma, and limited financial resources.

With school supply costs rising more than 20% since the pandemic, just affording the basics—like notebooks, backpacks, or even pencils—can feel out of reach.

But school is about more than what's on a list. It's about showing up ready to learn, to participate, and to dream.

Watch this video to learn more about the work we do, our core values and our mission to provide stability, support, behavioral health and education to the young people we serve.

A School Year of Hope Begins with YOU

Everstand Scholarship Recipient Accepted to Coppin State University

When Karmyn arrived at Everstand, she came ready for a fresh start. With determination and heart, she embraced every chance to grow—boosting her school attendance, reducing AWOLs, and diving into life skills that prepared her for independence.

Her dedication paid off. Karmyn graduated from Randallstown High School, received the James and Lois Mathis Award for Community Service, and is headed to Coppin State University to pursue her dream of becoming a social worker.

Karmyn's decision to pursue a degree in social work is not just a career path—it’s a calling. She wants to support children in the system—kids like her—because she knows firsthand how life-changing it can be to have someone who truly listens and cares.
