We Need You
If you're looking for a way to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families, volunteering with Everstand can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience.
By supporting children who have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, or other challenges, you can help them to heal, grow, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
You can make a real difference in the lives of children by volunteering.
Your involvement helps to provide youth in our programs with the stability, guidance, and care they need to succeed.
Many of the youth in our care have experienced significant trauma or abuse and may struggle with emotional or behavioral challenges as a result. By giving your time and talents, you help Everstand provide a stable and supportive environment and break the cycle of trauma to build brighter futures.
When you join as a member of our Volunteer Corps, you'll be joining a community of individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of children and families.

Each year at Christmas, the Christmas Store is set up for the children served by Everstand. The store stocks new merchandise so each child has an opportunity to select Christmas gifts for the important people in their life. Even though the children may not live with their parents and siblings during the holiday, giving them Christmas gifts is very important to them. Volunteers are needed to create the catalog of items, solicit donations, and sort/wrap items for pick-up.
Our Jim Young Memorial Golf Tournament is held annually in September in Carlisle, PA. Proceeds benefit Everstand’s programs in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Who doesn’t love to “get away” during the summer months? Everstand’s youth do, too, and volunteers are needed to help bring in monetary donations to offset transportation and admission costs. In the past Everstand youth have been able to take trips to places like Sky Zone, Ironbird & Frederick Keys baseball games, Cascade Lake, and Mt. Pleasant Ice Rink.
